My First Flowers!

Believe it or not these are the first flowers I have ever received from Tyler!
He is a strong believer in not buying gifts that do not have a long life expectancy!
I was so surprised!
I loved them, loved them, loved them... and then they died. :(

Project: Yard

So fixing up our house has been our on going project this last year. Tyler and I have started SO many projects... and most of them are still in the works! Hence... there haven't been any
pictures of our new house since we moved... Oops!
Well... Here is one of the projects we are getting closer to finishing... the YARD!
We have been blessed with so much help on this project!

Here is Landon hanging out with his Uncle Eric (Ewik). They are great pals!

Tyler striking a pose! ;)

Naturally... Brenley and I were sent off to get more gloves and drinks for Tyler and Eric!

Tyler and Eric digging the trenches for our sprinkler system. Eric and Brenley took of a whole day to come and labor in our yard! They are so amazing! I am inspired by their selfless service!

Landon was just happy to be outside! He is so much like Tyler!

My boys!

Even my wonderful pregnant friend Asheli helped! She's amazing!
So the yard now has a sprinkler system and the concrete has been poured around the area for the grass. Tyler has constructed a big planter box, and will soon begin another one. Landon and I spent one day planting flowers. We put in grass plugs as a family so hopefully... someday... it will start growing! :) Maybe next time SOD! At least we are getting close to the
end of this big project!

Out of Africa

Okay... I know that my blog is sad right now.... The problem is that it was discouraging to log on and see the fun things people were doing and how cute their blogs are and all the cute pictures when I haven't been able to make the time to do any of those things. I figure that I better get back on board with this so that I have it for memory sake! After all... its not that I don't have super cute pictures of our little family! :)

Here is our spring break trip to Out of Africa!

Always a pusher and never the passenger!

Did you know that 1 ostrich egg is the equivalent of 12 dozen chicken eggs?
(At least that's what I think the tour guide said)

Here is Pilgrim the friendly giraffe that we fed! Landon loved this guy!

Getting ready for the Safari Tour ride

Of course we are surrounded by amazing animals and Landon is in love
with the big Tonka Trucks!
We absolutely loved our little African trip!
It was nice to get away and just spend time together. Too often Tyler and I have been just seeing each other in the evenings after work and school. We do our homework then go to bed. We really needed this time to bond as a family! I am grateful that I have been blessed with
two fantastic guys in my life!
