Busy Busy Busy
So this is just a putting it out there blog... please feel free to skip over and not read.
Moving has been wonderful. The house is fantastic! Painting is great... but super tiring... especially after helping my aunt watch a few extra kids for 10 days!! (although I did have Sunday off...) Arg... why don't 4 year olds listen? I'm all about the talking through things, reasoning, whatever... but nothing works! I hate that age! It baffles me that they can be so stubborn. I'm really hoping that this wears off before Landon hits that age. I've come to learn that it really is not so much a parenting thing as it is just an age thing. I'm sure that a lot of this animosity is also coming from be super exhausted from trying to keep up with them! Holy cow! Anyway....
I have been trying to figure out what I'm going to do with my life... I am currently pursuing my sociology degree and will be graduating in May... but then what? Do you know what a sociologist does? I sure don't. I still want to be a nurse but am dealing with the guilt of leaving Landon with a sitter for so many days all day long, and how can we afford that if I don't work, and there's no way I will be able to work in nursing school? Hmm....
I feel sometimes that I am not family oriented enough. I love Tyler and Landon and love being around them, but sometimes I just want to do more things outside of coming home and going to bed. I want to go on vacations with them, get out and do activities, go hiking... I want to be a fun mom and spontaneous wife. I'm so scared of becoming boring. I love reading other peoples blogs and seeing what they do with there kids but them am left feeling like a loser. Even as I am writing this I know it sounds incredibly dumb... so if you are reading please just tune out. I'm not a pessimistic person but I totally feel like venting! :) I know I should journal, but lets just not get started with that!
I feel like since we moved from our past ward we didn't make enough of an impression for anyone to care to keep in contact, which I'm sure is not completely the case. People have lives and they keep going. I am totally for change, there's just people that I wish I got to hang out with still.
I totally love our new ward! Everyone is super friendly and we both have callings now. I am serving in primary with the 7-8 years olds which is a great class!
We are sending Joe to Missouri to live with my grandma! Thanks Grandma Dulcie! He will be so happy roaming around free. Ahh... what a life!
So... I am resolved to exercise and be more creative with my time with Tyler and Landon (please give any and all suggestions for fun family activities). There we go. This was a great post.
OH! Last but not least... I sure hope that Jake does NOT get kicked off the Batchelorette... I was telling my aunt this when she pointed out that I feel this way because Jake is just like Tyler... A straight laced, super nice and compassionate guy... and he's Smokin' Hot!! :) I love Tyler... and I love realizing that he is so perfect for me! :)

This Just Might Kill Me....
This will be one of the hardest things I've had to do in my life thus far... My dog, Joe Boxer is officially up for adoption. He is the greatest dog! I love him! We have come to the realization that we are not home enough for him to get out and exercise and play like he needs. He is a great dog with an awesome personality! He is so lovable and so friendly, even with other dogs. He absolutely LOVES kids especially babies. He is 100% pure AKC Boxer, with a lineage and papers. He is still a stud and able to breed, in fact he's at the best breeding age, 1 1/2. He is mostly current on his shots, he could use a couple boosters if he is going to be around a lot of other dogs. We have all of his medical records, etc. To me none of that is all that important... he is just a great dog. He's graduated from the beginning obedience and agility MLF Dogsport school, so he knows several commands. He's pretty smart... but I won't lie... he can be pretty dopey! He's an inside kennel trained dog, although if he had a grassy backyard that's not in the valley he would probably be okay there too. I don't know what more to say about him. I would take him in a heartbeat, but the poor guy deserves to not be locked up in a kennel all day long. I want him to go to a good family, and I would be willing to give him up for free if only I could find a better home! Please let me know if you would be interested.
As dumb as this sounds... I am so heartbroken to be writing this. I really love him! :)

Happy Birthday Tyler!!
Yeah!! Tyler's birthday was yesterday (May 9th) and I have to be honest... I totally dropped the ball. Poor guy. Last year his birthday was amazing and this year he said he didn't want anything... we both figured that buying a new house was a pretty good birthday present! :) Anyway... I tried to warn him that I had nothing planned for the big day and really that's how it went. So, I thought that I should write down a few things that I love about him (and maybe someday he will read this):
1. I have always loved your smile... particularly your great teeth
2. I love to wrestle with you, even though I always get hurt for real....
3. I love watching you play with Landon when you don't think that I'm around
4. It cracks me up to watch you laugh when you're on the phone... you always do this funny tongue smile
5. I like the way you dress
6. I love your jokes when you teach gospel doctrine
7. I appreciate your honest critiqe
8. I love your strong and simple testimony
9. I love hearing about your mission
10. I love it when you call me by my first name
11. I love knowing that I'm more imporant to you than computer games!
12. I love that you're SMOKIN' HOT
13. I love your hands
14. I like that you like to be clean
15. I love watching shows with you, even if we have to watch them on the computer...
16. I love our family court arguments
17. I love that you can fix anything
18. I LOVE the way you sing
19. I LOVE the way you play the piano (I'm not sure how these made it down here so low! This list is definitely NOT in any order!)
20. I love kissing you
21. I love coming home to you after a long time of being away
22. I love waking up next to you on Sundays
23. I love that you are patient with me as I try to figure out what's wrong with me
24. I love that you're my husband!! You are the best!
Tyler, there are so many reasons that I love you!! I am very grateful that
YOU ARE MINE for-ev-er!
Happy Birthday Love!!

A little Chub in the Tub
This is for Noelle!!
Our friends, Noelle and Jacob Lewis came to hang out with us last Sunday night so of course Landon and his best friend, Talmage, had to take a bath together! They are so stinking cute! Two little chunks in the tub together! We can't wait for the Lewis' to move closer!
So... bath time consisted of Landon splashing and kicking his legs and crawling all over the tub while Talmage played with whatever toys Landon wouldn't steal from him! He was such a good sport! I'm so glad that we have the Lewis' as friends! It's funny because they were married two months after us, then they had Talmage two months after Landon. We became friends while I was subbing for someone as the ward chorister and Noelle played the organ. Once we knew we were both pregnant and having boys it just sealed the deal! We will have to be friends forever!!
Unfortunately... I could only find two pictures that were okay to post... so I will have to send the rest to you Noelle! :)
Easter Bunny and Moving Day
This year I took Landon to the Sharing Down Syndrome Easter Egg Hunt!! It was so fun. We went to Rockin R Ranch and met up with my parents, little sister (Emily - 4 years), and my Uncle's family. Of course we stopped by to see the Easter bunny (who happened to be my cousin's music therapist! Then we headed off to the dancing area and shook our groove thing for a while! By that time it was raining pretty bad so I decided to check out to help Tyler with the moving.
Tyler, his dad, and Kaylyn were moving all morning in the rain (we decided to rent a U-haul that morning). So, thankfully... Landon slept the whole time we were loading the truck in his car seat. I can't believe how smoothly our move went, regardless of the rain and lack of able bodies... All I can say is THANK YOU THANK YOU to Tyler's dad and sister... and of course my GREAT husband! (There you go Tyler... you made the blog). I will be posting pictures of our new house soon.... I can't say how nice it is to have carpet! Ahhh..... and a big kitchen with cupboards that I'm not scared to put my dishes in! Joe loves the stairs, I love the light in the house (and the giant master bathtub, Tyler just loves being a homeowner in general.... he's already dreaming up projects! I'm pretty sure that Landon's favorite things about the house are the little door stoppers that when you slap make a bbbrrjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjrrrrr sound, he also loves taking baths in his bathtub, and crawling freely without us picking him up and putting him on our little patch of carpet in the other house! :)
PS If anyone wants to buy a house there are several on our street! :) Also, we found the BEST real estate agent ever! Let us know if you want her info!
