Landon Update

Landon started growing his first tooth on Nov. 5th (on the airplane is when it broke through) then his second on started to break through a couple days later! Holy cow! It was so weird... I had this big feeling of pride that my little boy was growing his teeth. How funny is that? It's not like he was trying very hard, it's natural, but it made me feel so proud of him!! How silly! He's so young, but oh well. That explains why he has been wanting to chew on everything all the time and he's always so slobbery!

Tyler took him in for his 4 month appointment on Tuesday. Okay, hold onto your chairs... the kid is 19.3 lbs!! Yeah... that's the 97th percentile. Apparently he has been eating more than he needs to be! :) He just loves to eat and always complains after his bottle is taken away! Who knew? Needless to say, we are feeding him less so he can average out with his 50th percentile length and head circumference. :)

He is getting close to rolling. He can get onto his side and he can roll over... he just has to connect the two! He works so hard to get his pacifier into his mouth by himself! He usually ends up with the opposite end in the mouth! I can't get over his huge smile! He cracks me up when he does it. His cheeks are so big that his eyes disappear!

Here's some pictures of after our trip, back home with Tyler and Joe! (Yeah I look ridiculous and Tyler is doing a weird face on purpose. In one of the pictures Landon is doing a football pose in his jamies.)

Halloween

Here's for the long overdue Halloween pictures. So, Landon never actually wore his turtle costume ON Halloween because he was too sleepy and Tyler and I went out to eat at Texas Roadhouse (because Halloween is my birthday). Anyway... He did wear it to a Trunk or Treat. Poor guy was so congested that by the end of the night he was miserable - sneezing out snot and having cough attacks. And, of course, he is still congested but doing much better. His costume was so cute that none of these pictures did it justice. Darn.
Tyler and I were able to go to a Halloween party and it was so much fun! We dressed up as pirates, as you can see from Tyler. He looked HOT! Supermodel, me not so much! I looked like a little boy pirate that swabs the poop deck (if that's even the right terminology). We also had a great time eating at Texas Roadhouse, aside from the quirky little waitress that was very much involved in our meal. Apparently, everything I wanted was her favorite thing on the menu not to mention that it was all "out of this world." I kept feeling like maybe I should have just let her sit right on my lap and eat with us, she didn't have a sense of personal space anyway. :)
