He is now 14 months old! He started walking the day he turned 14 months. I think he is enjoying the independence and so am I! He talks a lot... unless he's in a new situate then he only says "Hi" as he buries his head into my neck. He loves hanging out with Max, our cousin. They can often be found together either laughing for getting into trouble. He loves the Your Baby Can Read movies and every now and then surprises me by reading a word before it is said! I am impressed by him everyday. He is such a sweet little guy and I can tell that he is a special gift from my Heavenly Father.
Tyler is back in school and is enjoying his semester! Hallelujah! He has a class where he is able to apply the marketing strategies that he is learning and his group is number one thus far. He also had been enjoying working at Sherwin Williams!
I, too, am back in school. I am anxious to get my sociology degree done with. My favorite time is when I am at home playing with Landon and cleaning my house! Cleaning and organizing is so therapeutic for me. I also really enjoy going to work, and so does Landon.
Our house is slowly coming along. We have more than half of it painted, as we try to squeeze in home improvement jobs in-between our busy schedules and homework loads. Our cabinets are half stained... so they look like they are going through a 70's makeover... not the best look. Tyler is also been working hard on the baby grand he bought. So far he has sanded it down and stained most of it black. I think he is getting close to bringing it into the house! :) Yea! Then I can park in my garage again! That will be so nice!
We really love our ward! Tyler is teaching Gospel Doctrine and has recently been called as the ward chorister. I have been enjoying leading music in primary. We have made some really good friends!
We recently, the weekend that ASU started, went on a trip to San Diego with another couple from the ward. It was such a funny adventure. My mom came to pick up Landon in the valley, then we were off. Tyler and I drove with Asheli to pick up her husband from this Marine station in California, then barely made it to dinner before the restaurant closed. We ended up sharing a hotel room to cut the cost of the trip and it ended up being very entertaining. We spend the next day at Seaworld enjoying ourselves. Then we came home on Sunday. It was a quick little trip but such a nice get-away!
We are happy and doing well out here in Queen Creek! We miss all of our good friends from Gateway ward, but are excited that we have made friends here too!
As soon as I find pictures from the Seaworld trip I will post them... as well as some pictures from our "still in the process" house.
