This Just Might Kill Me....

This will be one of the hardest things I've had to do in my life thus far... My dog, Joe Boxer is officially up for adoption. He is the greatest dog! I love him! We have come to the realization that we are not home enough for him to get out and exercise and play like he needs. He is a great dog with an awesome personality! He is so lovable and so friendly, even with other dogs. He absolutely LOVES kids especially babies. He is 100% pure AKC Boxer, with a lineage and papers. He is still a stud and able to breed, in fact he's at the best breeding age, 1 1/2. He is mostly current on his shots, he could use a couple boosters if he is going to be around a lot of other dogs. We have all of his medical records, etc. To me none of that is all that important... he is just a great dog. He's graduated from the beginning obedience and agility MLF Dogsport school, so he knows several commands. He's pretty smart... but I won't lie... he can be pretty dopey! He's an inside kennel trained dog, although if he had a grassy backyard that's not in the valley he would probably be okay there too. I don't know what more to say about him. I would take him in a heartbeat, but the poor guy deserves to not be locked up in a kennel all day long. I want him to go to a good family, and I would be willing to give him up for free if only I could find a better home! Please let me know if you would be interested.
As dumb as this sounds... I am so heartbroken to be writing this. I really love him! :)

Aw! I felt the same way when we had to give up our bird to move to idaho for school. It is so hard, but I know that she is in a good home somewhere. You will get through this even though it may seem like there is no light at the end of the tunnel.
